From the moment I happen to saw the bookcover of DICK, I was instantly in love. I'm a #coverwhore, that much is obvious, but with all the teasers and excerpts, my blood just keep pumping and my desire just get amped up.
If it's a Scott Hildreth's book, I am always anxious as well as scared because I know I'm in for another emotional ride or a bookhangover looming ahead. This Author gets me you know? He knows how to get into my soul, seeped deep and extract every emotion that I have.
But I feel DICK was different. It was a ride, you see, to be immersed reading into the pages and in between of this book. It was exhilarating to say the least, and Scott Hildrethjust got my blood pumping with adrenaline and excitement and so so much fun.
Dick is like he almost always say, interesting. He's an asshole, my kind of asshole and he's just my kind of bad boy. There's not enough words how to describe him. Well, aside from the fact that he's a dick.
I love Jess' sassy mouth. Her sarcasm. And the way she labeled every person. It's just funny. And she's straightforward and blunt. My kind of girl.
Reading the pages of this book made me think of Fast and Furious. It's because of the fast ride and the adrenaline, the excitement I felt when reading and the feel that I'm like watching a movie in a cinema. Also, the many surprises that I actually find. And yes, attention to details. Considering Dick's, shall we say entrepreneurial skills *snickers*, I was very particular with every detail he did and whatever he said. Definitely approved. Also, the fact that the author has just made me feel like this is the greatest excitement I could feel is so enough for me.
I love the dick references all throughout the book and I enjoyed every moment I had with the book and so so much more.
I always say this, but it's true. This is the best book by Scott Hildreth yet. Can't wait what he has in store for me next.
